At 23 January 2013, the honorable UNO of Chakaria visited Koiarbil & Kakara to monitor
the progress of cash for work project supported by CARE-Bangladesh, funded by ECO along with the Project Implementation Officer (PIO) of Chakaria. The Regional Coordinator of SARPV Mr. Maksodul Alam Muhit guided them during this visit.
The UNO observed the selection criteria & implementing procedure of this project. He was pleased after observing these. He found that SARPV went through community consultancy to select the beneficiaries, this was outstanding according him. After this he went to see the implementation progress.
The enthusiasm of the beneficiaries satisfied him. He found that all are working for better social infrastructure development. They are repairing and raising the height of the roads. All these activities were performing with a great motivation. Seeing this entire thing Mr. UNO also inspired and suggested them to make the road little sloppy. If so, then the water will not stay on the road and the damage or loss will be minimized.
At the end he said that PIO of Chakaria will monitor the progress of this project and thanked SARPV and CARE Bangladesh for implementing such noble task.
