After the excessive flood from24-27 June 2015 in Chakaria, Pekua and Ramu totally disrupted the social, environmental and economic life of the entire population of those areas. After observing the severity of the losses and damages of the household (HH) stuffs due to the flood, CARE Bangladesh & SARPV appealed to Government and Donor agencies from this appeal USAID, Save the Children and Proctor and Gamble (P&G)came forward to financed Non Food Items to 14162 HH of 16 Unions of Chakaria upazila under Cox’s Bazar District with the support of Care Bangladesh to implement this program through SARPV.
