SARPV- Bangladesh has been organized a 3 days training on “Rickets Identification and prevention” at Chakaria Disability Centre (CDC), SARPV-Bangladesh at 
Chakaria. The training was devoted to develop a group of Master trainers on: “Identification and prevention of rickets disease”.
Total 25 participants (govt. health and family planning department, CSO’s and NGO officials ) took part in the training. Out of 25 participants 08 were Upazila Family Planning Officers, 05 were CSO delegates and rest 12 were organizational staffs. Mr. Dipak Talukder the Deputy Director (FP) Coxsbazar district inaugurated the training session.
Through the training effort upazila Family Planning officers (UFPO), Community based organization (CSO) and local NGOs will be able (working area of SARPV) to help the communities to detect the first sign of rickets, prevention and its treatment and advocating against the issue in their community level to makes rickets free Bangladesh.
