To develop a group of Master trainer and advocate team on “Rickets Prevention and Identification” SARPV–Bangladesh has been organized two days training at BIAM foundation on 21st to 22nd July 2010. To makes rickets free Bangladesh SARPV has gives more emphasis on early detection of rickets.

A two days workshop was held on “HIV/AIDS orientation” from 25th to 26th July at 2010. At present HIV/ AIDS is global concern. To capture knowledge on HIV/ AIDS, SARPV organized the workshop for the internal staff. Through the training effort staff were received better knowledge and able to develop a mutual understanding about the issue to practice it in the projects and programs at organizational level.

10 Disabled Children of “Prodipaloy School” at Chakaria and Moheskhali Upazila under Coxsbazar district has got stipend from Social welfare department. Out of ten disabled students six from Chakaria and rest 4 were Moheskhali Prodipaloy School. 

Mr. Azimul Huq Azim the chairman of Surajpur Mainkpur Union Parishad has contributed 35000/= (thirty five thousand) taka to ELCD (Early Learning Childhood Development Centre) of SARPV-Bangladesh for the schools construction and development.

A two days training on “Gender and Diversity” was organized by SARPV- Bangladesh at Hotel Ambala INN on 5th to 6th May 201o. Nineteen participants (13 male and 06 female) actively took part in the session from the organization.

A two days training on “Child Centered approach” was organized by SARPV- Bangladesh at Hotel Ambala INN on 3rd and 4th May 2010. Nineteen participants (13 male and 06 female) from the organization actively took part in the session.

Rickets has been identified first in Bangladesh by SARPV-Bangladesh. Before it was not considered that Rickets can be happen where vitamin D is available in a tropical country like Bangladesh. In 1991 first Rickets has been identified by SARPV and then it has taken long 8 years to prove that it is rickets with the initiative of the UNICEF, AEM, CORNELL University, BRAC, and HKI.
